Rotterdam sunny afternoon

Hello, everyone! I have studied a new design direction during the past two years that focuses more on interactions than building concepts, which is why I haven’t been able to work on visualization as much. Recently, I began to consider painting the inside walls of my room. Since this was a difficult decision, I utilized Keyshot to determine which color complemented my space the best. The amusing thing about this visualization is how much emphasis is placed on the sun’s volumetric light impact, despite the fact that there are fewer than 50 bright days here each year. So don’t base your opinion of Rotterdam on what I’ve described here.
Comments are always appreciated!

Great lighting even if it is deceptive! Is the overall graininess intentional? I like it, but have had problems where I had to get rid of it, so figured I would ask.

Nice one, I like the colours! Did you model it all as well? And about time I visit Rotterdam again, it’s a city like no other Dutch cities. I currently live between the farm fields so even with only 50 bright days, there are no skyscrapers blocking the sun

It looks great, I would try to get rid of the graininess tho : )

훌륭합니다.

Thanks Mitchell, happy you liked the lighting setting, regarding the graininess, I would say sometimes I don’t remove them as they make somehow simulate the noises of a polaroid-camera which I really like, But I would say the best way to get rid of them is the built-in Nvidia denoiser which acts nice (unless you have small texture patterns like fabric that sometimes are considered as noises  ) and of course rendering with more samples

Hey Oscar, happy you liked it, most of the objects are 3d-modeld in rhino and Blender, but there are some assets like the sofa.

P.S. thats a great idea, it would be so sad to loose the sunny days as of buildings:D

Really nice work! I’m no star in modelling but really love to do it. I’m always curious if people model themself or only do the compositing and renders. Still have to find time to play with Rhino a bit, currently using MODO for models since that one feels best for my brain/skills

I’m just joining in to say this is really nice. I like the lighting especially. It helps create a nice relaxing mood. Well-done!

Nice use case Kamran! I always find it fun when I can use programs I work with for needs in my personal life. Just wanted to drop in and say I absolutely love the mood and color tone of your renders, very dramatic. That first shot with the backpack tucked in is my favorite.
